Website design & build
A responsive multi-page site designed around Pawsome's own personality, services and customer journey.
Case study · Pawsome Home Boarding
Pawsome was never just about somewhere for dogs to stay. Sue had built a trusted, home-from-home experience around personal care, familiar routines, countryside walks and dogs being treated like part of the family. The website needed to make people feel that before they had even met her.

The brief
A business with a very clear personality and a loyal customer base. Sue knew exactly how she wanted dogs and their owners to feel: reassured, welcome and confident that this was a genuine home environment rather than a kennel experience.
Translate that feeling online while making practical information much easier to find. Visitors needed to understand the home-boarding experience, meet Sue, see the dogs and environment, explore services and food options, read genuine customer feedback and move naturally towards checking availability.
We deliberately avoided the bright, playful visual language often used for pet businesses. Warm cream, deep forest green, restrained terracotta and editorial typography gave Pawsome a more established, considered feel, while real photography kept everything personal and approachable.

The feeling behind the design
The most important visual cue wasn't a paw print or a kennel. It was the dogs themselves, relaxed in a real home and garden. The photography became part of the brand story, showing the environment Sue provides rather than simply telling people about it.
That same thinking shaped the copy and navigation: reassuring language, clear next steps and enough personality to make the site feel like Sue rather than a generic pet-care business.
What we delivered
A responsive multi-page site designed around Pawsome's own personality, services and customer journey.
A more cohesive visual language using colour, typography, photography and tone to reinforce warmth and trust.
Availability, WhatsApp, service information, FAQs and customer reviews positioned around the questions dog owners actually have.
Layouts and calls to action refined for the phones and tablets customers are most likely to use when making an enquiry.
Page structure, metadata, sitemap and Google Search Console foundations to help the new site be understood and discovered.
A structure that can evolve with Pawsome, from new content and photography to future service information.
In Sue's words
“I honestly couldn’t be happier with the website Sarah has created for my business, Pawsome Home Boarding. From the very beginning, Sarah took the time to understand me, my business and what makes Pawsome different. She somehow managed to take everything I had in my head and turn it into a website that feels completely me and perfectly captures what Pawsome Home Boarding is all about. The website looks professional, modern and welcoming, but still has that warm, homely feel that is so important to my business. I absolutely love how it showcases the dogs, our home-from-home environment and the personal care I provide. Sarah has been amazing throughout the whole process. She’s creative, patient, incredibly helpful and nothing has ever been too much trouble, even when I’ve changed my mind.”
