Website design & build
A responsive multi-page site balancing aspirational imagery with substantial travel information and clear calls to action.
Case study · Twilight Travel
Twilight Travel needed more than an attractive brochure site. The goal was to create a polished, content-rich home for an independent travel business: somewhere clients could be inspired, understand the value of expert planning and move naturally from dreaming about a trip to starting one.

The brief
Years of first-hand travel knowledge, a highly personal advisory service and a broad mix of trips to talk about, from ocean and river cruising to tailor-made journeys and all-inclusive escapes. The challenge was turning that depth of knowledge into an online experience that felt inspiring rather than overwhelming.
Give the business a distinctive digital identity, explain why working with a travel advisor adds value, organise a growing library of travel content and make it easy for visitors to move from inspiration to enquiry. Just as importantly, the site needed room to keep evolving as new destinations, guides and campaigns were added.
Deep twilight blue, warm gold and expansive travel photography created a more refined identity, while editorial typography and generous spacing kept information approachable. The visual system was designed to feel aspirational without becoming impersonal: expertise with a sense of possibility.
DISCOVER · EXPLORE · EXPERIENCE · REMEMBER
Travel should begin with possibility.
More than a homepage
Twilight's structure was built around the way people actually explore travel. Cruise types, destinations, tailor-made journeys and all-inclusive escapes can each develop independently while still feeling part of one coherent brand.
That thinking extends beyond the website into newsletters, social content, enquiry journeys and search visibility, giving the business a connected digital presence rather than a collection of unrelated pieces.

A founder-led project
Twilight Travel is owned by West & Palm founder Sarah Cullen and her husband, Pete. That made the project an opportunity to develop the brand from inside the business: testing the strategy, content systems and digital thinking in a real operating company rather than treating the website as a standalone design exercise.
The result has become a useful proving ground for the joined-up approach West & Palm now brings to client projects.
In the owners' words
“We wanted Twilight Travel to feel like much more than another travel website. Sarah took the time to think about how we work, the kind of trips we love to create and, most importantly, how we wanted clients to feel when they found us. The new site is polished and professional, but it still feels personal. It gives us somewhere to showcase our knowledge, inspire clients and explain the value of working with a travel advisor without making all that information feel overwhelming. Sarah didn’t just build us a website. She thought about the whole picture, from the branding and structure to the newsletter, enquiry journey, search presence and how everything works together. We now have a digital presence that finally feels like Twilight Travel.”
